Welcoming your little one into the world is a momentous occasion, and being able to capture those early days with the help of a professional Worcester newborn photographer is so wonderful. You’ve taken the photos, but now you’re trying to decide the best way to display and enjoy your favorite images. In this blog post, we’ll explore creative ways to display and preserve your newborn portraits, allowing you to cherish all the magic that is your baby as a newborn.
I. Heirloom Photo Albums
A true archive of your newborn session, albums are a beautiful way to keep your favorite portraits bound together, and passed down, for generations. You can DIY an album, but it will be difficult to match the quality your photographer can provide using a professional vendor. (Spoiler alert: discount print labs are a ‘cheaper’ option, but you get what you pay for.) Another thing to consider on the DIY front- we always have great intentions, but more often than not life gets in the way.
My advice? Consider hiring a Worcester newborn photographer who includes artwork design as a part of their portrait experience. Many photographers (like myself) believe in giving families the flexibility to choose products AFTER viewing the images from their session. This model gives you the freedom to see your photographs before deciding exactly how you want to enjoy them.
II. Matted Prints
What if I told you there’s a middle ground between albums and frames? Enter…the matted print. Sets of fine art paper prints, matted and ready to frame, gift, or stay tucked inside the included linen print box. Matted prints are the perfect DIY solution for large gallery walls and families who want to frame photographs on their own.
III. Framed Fine Art
Let’s talk about framed artwork. The vendors that I use for my clients specialize in archival fine art prints. Your memories deserve to be preserved with intentionality and should be individually handled with a passionate eye for detail. Images are custom printed for heirloom quality, using lasting natural cotton papers, and arrive ready to hang in your home. As a Worcester newborn photographer, I know the importance of providing a full service experience. With a new baby (and possibly other little ones, too!) the last thing you should have to worry about is how or where to get your images printed.
I truly believe we never get the same feeling looking at our photographs on a screen as we do seeing them in print. Your time and money deserve a better return than your precious photos gathering dust on a hard drive. When we work together my process includes complimentary heirloom artwork design. As a Worcester newborn photographer, I work with my clients to preserve their most cherished memories in print; whether that’s through an album, matted prints, or custom frames. Making sure your portraits honor the beautiful newborn season is my love language.
