Relaxed and easy-going, maternity sessions honor and celebrate the special season of pregnancy. Usually taking place early in the third trimester, these sessions can be mama only or include a partner and family.
I'D LIKE TO KNOW MORE!
Not sure if scheduling photos with a Boston maternity photographer is worth it? I get it. Not everyone loves being pregnant (ahem *this was me*) but hear me out before you give Boston maternity photos a hard no...
It will be over before you know it.
I know this sounds cliche (it is) but it's also true. Consider maternity photos as a gift to yourself and your baby. You'll never regret being able to share these photographs, when it was just you two, with your little one as they grow up.
You're beautiful!
Some people ease into pregnancy, have that glow, and love every bit of growing a tiny human. But some of us don't. Sometimes it's a difficult transition. Sometimes watching our bodies change during pregnancy is hard and we might not always feel our best, but you're a rockstar and deserve to be celebrated.
Maternity sessions are easy and stress-free.
If we work together for your Boston maternity photos, it's a completely full-service experience. From a curated wardrobe and light-filled studio space to custom heirloom artwork design; I take care of you every step of the way.
I'm forever thankful to Molly
for capturing this special season
of my life in such a beautiful way.

There’s nothing more beautiful than feeling confident in your own skin, so choosing an outfit you'll feel comfortable in is key. For maternity sessions, capturing a few different looks is ideal. Of course! Your Boston maternity session can be solo or include a partner and family- the choice is yours. Fur babies are always welcome to join us, too!
The earlier the better! I recommend reaching out as soon as you feel comfortable sharing your exciting pregnancy news with friends and family. Reaching out early is best for scheduling purposes, giving you added flexibility for the months ahead.
1.) Going into labor early happens (I delivered at 36 weeks!) and we want to have every opportunity to document this special time.
2.) That last month of pregnancy can be a challenge and we want to avoid taking photos when you are feeling uncomfortable.
My preference is to photograph mamas between 30-33 weeks. By then you're moving into third trimester territory (hello, beautiful bump!) and *hopefully* not feeling ready to pop just yet! I prefer to keep sessions at 34 weeks or less for a couple of reasons:
I'm interested in newborn photos...is there a discount?
Yes! The membership is ideal for families who know they want to invest in multiple sessions over the next year. The membership includes a discounted creative fee priority scheduling, AND complimentary baby announcements.
