what to expect from your Boston newborn photography session...
Is family included in our boston Baby photography session?
Yes! Boston newborn photography sessions include the whole family (fur babies are welcome to join us, too!) Welcoming a new baby is a family affair and your photos will reflect all the love + joy that comes with growing your family.
when should I reserve my Boston Newborn session?
I only take on a limited number of due dates each month- so the earlier, the better! This allows me to serve every family well and provide maximum flexibility when it comes to scheduling your Boston newborn session.
Boston newborn photography sessions take place in the studio (or your home) on weekday mornings. We typically schedule Boston newborn sessions to start between 9am-10am.
When do Boston newborn photos take place?
I'm interested in maternity photos...is there a discount?
Yes! The Collective Membership gives you a big discount on 2-4 sessions during your pregnancy and baby's first year. It's our most popular option for families welcoming a baby and an easy way to ensure that we document all your biggest milestones.
Can we just get the digitals?
Absolutely. Digitals files are always available and delivered in an online gallery with print rights and no limit in print size ability. I offer several collections of digital files, so there's truly something for everyone.
Session dates are not scheduled prior to baby’s arrival. Due dates are just due dates 😉 and we want to have flexibility to accommodate early and late arrivals.
Once you've had a chance to settle in at home, we'll select a date that works best for your family. I typically photograph babies between 2-3 weeks old.
How does scheduling work?

For a variety of reasons, I don’t limit my Boston newborn photography sessions to a certain amount of time. We'll move at your family's pace and pause for feeding breaks and extra snuggles along the way. 1.5-3 hours is typical for Boston newborn sessions.
What is baby-led posing?
Simple, natural posing is at the heart of my work. Baby's cues and individual preferences always guide my workflow. I believe in creating images that preserve the true essence of your little one’s newborn experience and doing it with the greatest of care.
