Babies *and their families* are included in all of my newborn sessions. Bringing a little one into the world is something to be celebrated and you deserve to see yourself in these portraits, too. Filled with moments of pure love, genuine joy and undeniable connection, your collection of images will highlight the beauty a new baby brings to your life.

Baby solo, itty bitty details…yup, we do that! We will also focus on documenting your family in the most organic, intentional and beautiful way. Rest assured, there is nothing I expect you to know. Where do I put my hands? Does this angle work for me? How should I stand? I walk you through every step! The results will be photographs you can treasure for a lifetime.

Above all else, newborn safety is paramount. Simple, natural posing is at the heart of my work. Baby's cues and individual preferences always guide my workflow. I believe in creating images that preserve the true essence of your little one’s newborn experience and doing it with the greatest of care.

Session dates are not scheduled prior to baby’s arrival. I take on a limited number of due dates each month which allows for maximum flexibility. Once you're home and settled, we'll select a date that works best for your family. I typically photograph babies between 2-3 weeks old.

For a variety of reasons, I don’t limit my sessions to a certain amount of time. I move at your family's pace. Creating a relaxed and stress-free environment is most important. We build in time for feeding breaks and extra snuggles, too! 1.5-3 hours is typical for newborn sessions.
