The 2024 Santa + Holiday Mini Session Experience is hosted at the beautiful Newburyport Studio conveniently located in downtown Newburyport, MA.
Okay, let’s get down to the good stuff. WHAT TO WEAR! There are a few different ways to approach outfits for holiday mini session photos and/or sessions with Santa. Here are some of the most popular options:
Holiday Pajamas:
Keep it cozy! Pick out a pair of festive jammies for your kiddos to wear for their holiday mini session. This is a great way to keep things simple and easy. You’ll have adorable photos for your holiday card and have memories to look back on that are both casual and fun.
Classic Neutrals:
You can never (I repeat, never!) go wrong with a neutrals! Keep things classic by choosing outfits with muted tones. Opting for a neutral color palette doesn’t need to be boring! Bring in some texture by laying in knit pieces and a complimentary pattern. It’s also good to keep in mind that most holiday mini sessions feature decor with rich colors- think traditional holiday reds, greens, and golds. Softer colored outfits means you won’t compete or clash with the backdrop…or Santa!
Fancy & Festive:
Want to really embrace the season and get fancy? Opting for a more formal look is a great way to elevate your holiday mini session photos. Consider starting with a neutral outfit (mom’s dress or maybe dad’s sweater) and then add in clothes for the kids. Velvet dresses, knit cardigans and corduroy jumpers are all great ways to dress things up and bring the fancy vibes.
