Why These Stores Made The List

As a mom of twins and a photographer who works with growing families all across Massachusetts, I’ve had the chance to see—and hear—what really works. These baby stores Boston parents love made the list because they offer:

  • Thoughtfully curated items
  • Great quality (because who has time for shrink-y onesies?)
  • Styles that photograph beautifully
  • That little something special you don’t get from big-box chaos

Whether you’re looking for your baby’s first outfit or putting the final touches on the nursery, these are the baby stores Boston parents agree are worth checking out.

Top 3 Question to Ask

Welcoming a new baby into your family is one of the most special moments in life, and capturing those early newborn days through photography is something you’ll cherish forever. But with so many photographers out there, how do you know which one is the right fit for your family?

Before you book your newborn session, here are three essential questions to ask any baby photographer to ensure you’ll receive a safe, enjoyable experience and stunning images you’ll love for a lifetime.

  • What Experience Do You Have with Newborn Photography? – Newborn photography requires more than just a good camera and a love for babies. Safety, posing techniques, and experience all play a huge role in how baby photographers create beautiful images
  • What Is Included in Your Newborn Photography Packages? – Understanding exactly what’s included in your photography session will help you avoid surprises and ensure you’re getting the best value. Some photographers offer a full-service experience with amenities (studio, wardrobe, artwork design etc.) and others don’t.
  • What Is Your Editing and Delivery Process? – From light and airy to dark and moody, you can find talented photographers across all styles. Before you start contacting photographers, ask yourself what *you* want your photographs to look and feel like. What style resonates with you? Once you have an answer- do a portfolio check!

When To Book Your Session

As we wrap up our post on baby stores Boston parents love, are you ready to book your Boston newborn photography session? Here’s how it works:

  • Reach Out Early – Send me an inquiry as soon as you’re comfortable sharing the news with family and friends!
  • Dream Big – We’ll chat about wardrobe, styling, and whether you’d like a studio or in-home session.
  • Relax & Enjoy – Once your baby arrives, we’ll set a session date and create a beautiful, stress-free experience for your family.

Choosing a photographer isn’t just about finding someone to take great pictures—it’s about finding someone who makes you feel comfortable, at ease and can guide you through the entire process. Wondering What To Expect From Your Newborn Photographer? This post is for you!

If you’re expecting and hoping to document this special season, I’d love to walk you through what a session can look like. From wardrobe styling to choosing the perfect location, I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on soaking it all in. Reach out here to schedule your session or learn more about the experience.

TACO OBSESSED, REALITY TV JUNKIE, CHRONIC OVERACHIEVER, LOVER OF BABIES.

As a Boston photographer of newborns and families, nothing makes me happier than preserving memories for my clients. My journey into motherhood was anything but ordinary. We found out we were having identical twins (a huge surprise!) and a few weeks later, the world shut down. It was 2020 and my pregnancy, labor + delivery experience, and postpartum journey were nothing like I expected.

It was a challenging season, filled with anxiety and isolation, and looking back, I have almost no photographs from that time. I know how overwhelming those early days can be, and I want to give other moms what I wish I had—beautiful, tangible memories, without any of the stress.
