Would you believe it if I told you beautiful, timeless newborn and family photos can be captured in *every* home? Downtown apartments, cozy Capes, large farmhouses…it doesn’t matter! Whatever kind of space you call home (regardless of size and decor) is the perfect place for photographs. As a Brookline newborn photographer I love home sessions for so many reasons. At the top of that list is the way that cozy, intimate moments come out naturally when we’re shooting in a place as meaningful and personal as your home.

Enjoy this preview of Baby Cason’s in home newborn session. I enjoyed spending time with new parents Matt and Cameron so much. Sipping coffee (you better believe I arrive to all of my sessions with mom and dad’s coffee order in hand!) and chatting about the transition to parenthood.

Would you believe me if I told you every one of these images was taken in a small corner of this family’s dining room? Right off their kitchen was a sweet little dining area that got great natural light. Sliding glass doors that led out to their deck came through *for the win*. If we’ve worked together before you know that even the smallest of spaces can be magical when the lighting is good.

Don’t have a designer kitchen or a spacious living room with Joanna Gains inspired decor? Me either. And spoiler alert: your home doesn’t need to be worthy of an interior design magazine in order for us to capture gorgeous photographs of your family within those four walls.
